SRS Plant Management was created in 2007 as a direct subsidiary of SRS International to produce biodiesel fuels.
SRS International has designed, planned, and implemented equipment for 20+ biodiesel facilities in the past 3 years. Founded in 1985, SRS leads in engineering and manufacturing distillation systems and custom process systems. These systems serve industries such as pharmaceuticals, oil refining, biofuels, and food. Each of these industries has unique requirements, demanding high expertise in chemical, process, mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering. SRS understands that every customer has specific needs, often requiring installation and process management.
We provide our growing customer base with a dedicated “Plug in Place” management team. This team focuses on integrating cutting-edge technology to keep customers up to date with advancements. We ensure highly functional and efficient management operations.
Our innovative plant management technique provides customers with a complete package to operate a biodiesel plant. This includes a general manager, maintenance staff, operators, chemists, engineers, and administration personnel.
The SRS management system ensures efficiency, relieving customers and investors from the daily tasks of operations. Finally, SRS will be working with SRS Management in training new employees on plant management
SRS will provide SRS Management, a pilot plant at each facility for training and testing purposes. The pilot plant allows start-up plants to test biodiesel production on a smaller scale, minimizing raw material waste. It also reduces rework during operator training and enables experimentation with feedstocks to improve formulations. The system is available for ongoing training and process development, as requested by our General Manager.
Personnel will be hired from the local employment pools and trained by SRS engineers and management personnel who will provide continued training and service as necessary through our contract agreement. In addition, all personnel will be hired based on past experiences, education and basic skills. The appointed plant manager will attend meetings of management committee / board of directors as required and will assist with regulatory affairs monitoring and compliance.
SRS will provide a pilot plant at each facility for training purposes, this minimizes waste and rework while the operators are in training and allows them to experiment with various feed stocks to establish correct formulations. This system is further available on request by our General Manager to assist in continued training or to train new operators or develop new processes.
The maintenance department will be responsible for installing replacement parts and keeping track of the replacement parts inventory. In addition, Safety and health training will be conducted by the maintenance department along with the chemical engineer to meet state emission and other requirements.

SRS Management, will work on ongoing ASTM-D6751 product certifications and requirements, including USDA’s biodiesel programs. In addition, testing procedures will be established on many levels to ensure that the proper handling, sampling and testing is conducted efficiently to prevent impure product and consist outgoing product.
A human resources department will be established to perform various functions including payroll, benefits, employment paperwork and records, EDD compliance’s, OSHA safety guidelines, NFPA guidelines and electrical lockout/tag out procedures etc. In addition, a safety engineer will be onsite during the overlapping stage from project turn-over to SRS Management. This will also ensure that proper safety, maintenance procedures are in place and practiced.
Includes continuous online monitoring and support from our main office in California. Also, this will allow clearance to programming modifications, adjustments in control and historical trending monitoring for optimization. Alarms will also be sent to shift supervisors via email, mobile phone or pager to minimize equipment downtime, product impurity and potential re-runs.
