These resins are supplied in the hydrogen form and are specially designed for removing glycerin, soaps, trace water, and methanol from crude biodiesel. They can remove soaps and salts simultaneously, ensuring cleaner, higher-quality fuel.

ER-20 & GR-10 Macro Porous Strongly Acidic Cation Exchange Resin

ER-20 & GR-10 is a premium grade, macro porous strong acid cation exchange resin. It is a co-polymer of styrene and divinylbenzene with sulfonic acid exchange group. The unique structure allows for high operating capacity and excellent chemical and physical stability. Its matrix promotes better kinetics and better diffusion rates into and out of the bead. Due to the special surface area and pore size, it is used as a catalyst in the synthetic industry. It can be used in polar and non-polar media, especially suitable for the reduction of free fatty acids in triglycerides prior to transesterification to biodiesel.

PR-30 Strong Acidic Cation Exchange Resin

PR-30 is a dry bead form polystyrene sulphonate cation exchange resin. It has excellent physical and chemical properties such as high capacity and operating capacity, lower pressure drops, and good physical and chemical stability. The product is used in the removal of glycerin and soaps from biodiesel. It can remove soaps and salts simultaneously. It can also serve as a dehydrating agent or catalyst.
