Existing Plant Upgrade

This 10 MMGY biodiesel plant is located in Clinton, Iowa.

• We upgraded their existing Esterification process to our High FFA Conversion Processing System.  In addition, It is resin based, 2 stage Esterification System with 2 stages of flash vessels.  Also, The entire system is provisioned for 3 stages to handle extremely high FFA content in the feedstock.
• We also upgraded their Plant Control System to a SCADA Based DCS system to monitor process and equipment remotely.
• We upgraded their Methanol Recovery System with our SRXC Distillation Tower which separates MEOH from Water by using a fractionating distillation column.
